You must be at least 13 years of age before you can use this website or our other services such as Humie; however, children of all ages may use the service if enabled by a parent or legal guardian.
In some cases, the service may rely on video content from sources like YouTube which may include third-party contextual advertising. ThinkHumanTV will make every effort to ensure that the video content it supports and features is safe and age-appropriate. In cases where Affectifi has control over ad creatives, these will be subject to human review. However, Affectifi and ThinkHumanTV are not responsible for the nature of third-party contextual advertising featured as part of video content uploaded and managed by partners and other third parties. You agree that all materials, products, and services provided on this website are the property of Affectifi Inc., its affiliates, directors, officers, employees, agents, suppliers, or licensors including all copyrights, trade secrets, trademarks, patents, and other intellectual property. You also agree that you will not reproduce or redistribute the Affectifi Inc.’s intellectual property in any way, including electronic, digital, or new trademark registrations.
You grant Affectifi Inc. a royalty-free and non-exclusive license to display, use, copy, transmit, and broadcast the content you upload and publish.
Affectifi Inc. and its intellectual property are in no way affiliated with any of the supported streaming sites unless otherwise specified. For issues regarding intellectual property claims, you should contact the company in order to come to an agreement.
As a user of this website, mobile app, or browser extension, you may be asked to register with us and provide private information. You are responsible for ensuring the accuracy of this information, and you are responsible for maintaining the safety and security of your identifying information. You are also responsible for all activities that occur under your account or password.
If you think there are any possible issues regarding the security of your account on the website, inform us immediately so we may address it accordingly.
We reserve all rights to terminate accounts, edit or remove content and cancel orders at our sole discretion.
Use of the ThinkHumanTV browser extension may require your own subscription accounts and logins to each of the supported streaming services that you wish to engage with (e.g. Netflix, Disney+).
1. Program Overview
Affectifi Inc. (“Affectifi,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) may, in its sole discretion, offer a sponsored access program (the “Sponsored Access Program”) through Humie and/or other applications (the “App(s)”). The Sponsored Access Program is designed to expand access to the App(s) by providing certain users with free or reduced-cost subscriptions funded by paid subscriptions purchased by other users.
2. Eligibility and Requests
Users may request access to the Sponsored Access Program through the App(s) by submitting a request based on financial need or inability to pay. By submitting such a request, you represent and warrant that:
- The information you provide is truthful and accurate to the best of your knowledge; and
- You are requesting access in good faith based on a genuine inability to pay.
Affectifi may, but is not obligated to, verify eligibility, request additional information, or impose additional criteria for participation.
3. Honor System and Limited Verification
The Sponsored Access Program may operate, in whole or in part, on an honor system. Affectifi does not guarantee verification of all requests and relies on user honesty. However, we reserve the right to audit, review, or revoke access at any time if we suspect misuse, fraud, or violation of these Terms.
4. Availability and No Guarantee of Access
Sponsored subscriptions are limited and dependent on available funding from paid subscriptions and other factors. Submission of a request does not guarantee approval or continued access. Affectifi reserves the right to:
- Approve or deny any request in its sole discretion;
- Limit the number or duration of sponsored subscriptions;
- Modify, suspend, or discontinue the Sponsored Access Program at any time without notice.
5. Duration and Renewal
Sponsored access, if granted, is provided for a limited period determined by Affectifi. Continued access may require renewal or reapplication and is not guaranteed.
6. Restrictions on Use
Users receiving sponsored access agree:
- Not to misrepresent their eligibility or financial circumstances;
- Not to create multiple accounts or otherwise attempt to circumvent program limits;
- To comply with all other provisions of these Terms.
Violation of this section may result in immediate termination of access, suspension of accounts, and/or other remedies available under these Terms or applicable law.
7. No Transfer or Cash Value
Sponsored subscriptions have no cash value, are non-transferable, and may not be sold, exchanged, or assigned.
8. Program Modifications
Affectifi reserves the right to modify the structure, eligibility criteria, naming, or operation of the Sponsored Access Program at any time. Continued use of the App(s) following any such changes constitutes acceptance of those changes.
9. Privacy and Data Handling for Sponsored Access Requests
a. Information Collected
In connection with a request for the Sponsored Access Program, Affectifi Inc. (“Affectifi,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) may collect personal information provided by you, which may include information relating to your financial circumstances, household status, or other eligibility-related details (“Eligibility Information”).
b. Purpose of Collection and Use
Eligibility Information will be collected and used solely for the purposes of:
-Administering your request for sponsored access;
- operating, improving, and maintaining the Sponsored Access Program; and
- detecting, preventing, or addressing fraud, misuse, or abuse of the program.
We will not use Eligibility Information for marketing purposes unless you separately consent to such use.
c. Data Minimization
Affectifi endeavors to limit the collection of Eligibility Information to what is reasonably necessary to evaluate and administer the Sponsored Access Program. Users are encouraged not to submit sensitive personal information beyond what is specifically requested.
d. Sharing of Information
Eligibility Information may be shared:
- As required by law, regulation, or legal process; or
- To protect the rights, property, or safety of Affectifi, our users, or others.
We do not sell Eligibility Information to third parties.
e. Retention
Eligibility Information will be retained only for as long as reasonably necessary to fulfill the purposes described in this section, unless a longer retention period is required or permitted by law.
f. Security
Affectifi implements reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards designed to protect Eligibility Information. However, no method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
g. User Rights and Choices
Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have certain rights regarding your personal information, including the right to access, correct, or delete your Eligibility Information. Requests may be submitted in accordance with our Privacy Policy.
h. Relationship to Privacy Policy
This section supplements, and does not replace, Affectifi’s Privacy Policy. In the event of a conflict, this section will govern with respect to Eligibility Information collected specifically for the Sponsored Access Program.
1. Overview
Affectifi may, in its products such as Humie, offer a program (the “School Support Program”) that allows users to designate a school, parent-teacher association, parent-teacher organization, or similar educational support organization (each, a “PTA”) in connection with their use of the Services. If you elect to participate, Humie may allocate a portion of certain eligible subscription revenues to support the PTA associated with your selected school, subject to the terms and conditions set forth herein.
Participation in the School Support Program is voluntary and may not be available in all locations or for all users.
2. User Designation of School
You may have the option to select or update a school associated with your account. By selecting a school, you represent that your selection is made in good faith and not for any fraudulent, manipulative, or improper purpose.
Affectifi does not guarantee that any particular school or PTA will be available for selection, eligible to receive funds, or ultimately receive any allocation.
3. Nature of Payments
Any amounts distributed in connection with the School Support Program are made solely by Affectifi and not by you. Your subscription payments are made to Affectifi in exchange for access to the Services and do not constitute charitable donations.
You acknowledge and agree that:
- You are not making a charitable contribution by selecting a school or subscribing to the Services;
- You are not entitled to any tax deduction, receipt, or other tax benefit in connection with the School Support Program; and
- Affectifi makes no representations or warranties regarding the tax treatment of any payments made under this program.
4. Eligibility and Conditions for PTA Participation
Distribution of any funds to a PTA is subject to eligibility criteria established by Affectifi in its sole discretion, which may include, without limitation:
- Verification of the PTA’s identity and affiliation with a school;
- Completion of any required enrollment, onboarding, or agreement with Humie;
- Satisfaction of minimum payout thresholds;
- Compliance with applicable laws, regulations, and Humie policies; and
- Ability to receive funds through designated payment methods.
If a selected PTA does not meet these requirements, declines participation, cannot be verified, or is otherwise deemed ineligible, Humie may, in its sole discretion, withhold, delay, reallocate, or cancel any associated funds.
5. Calculation and Distribution of Funds
Affectifi retains sole discretion over the calculation, amount, timing, and distribution of any funds under the School Support Program. This may include, without limitation:
- Determining which subscription revenues are eligible for inclusion;
- Establishing or modifying the percentage or portion of revenue allocated;
- Aggregating contributions across users or time periods; and
- Applying minimum thresholds or administrative adjustments.
Affectifi does not guarantee that any minimum amount will be allocated or distributed to any PTA.
6. No Endorsement or Affiliation
The availability, listing, or selection of any school or PTA within the Services does not constitute or imply any endorsement, sponsorship, partnership, or affiliation between Affectifi and such organization, unless expressly stated otherwise in a separate written agreement.
7. Data Sharing and Reporting
Affectifi may provide participating PTAs with limited information related to the School Support Program, which may include aggregated, anonymized, or de-identified data regarding user participation or funds allocated. Any collection, use, or sharing of personal information will be conducted in accordance with Affectifi’s Privacy Policy.
8. Program Modifications and Termination
Affectifi reserves the right, at any time and in its sole discretion, to modify, suspend, or terminate the School Support Program, in whole or in part. This includes, without limitation:
- Changes to eligibility requirements;
- Changes to the method of calculation or distribution of funds; and
- Discontinuation of support for any or all schools or PTAs.
Any such changes may be implemented without prior notice, unless otherwise required by applicable law.
9. No Third-Party Beneficiary Rights
Nothing in these Terms, including this Section, is intended to or shall confer upon any PTA, school, or other third party any right, benefit, or remedy of any kind. PTAs are not third-party beneficiaries of these Terms.
10. Informational Displays
Any figures displayed within the Services regarding amounts raised, allocated, or distributed to a PTA or PTAs are estimates for informational purposes only and may be subject to adjustment. Such figures do not create any binding obligation on the part of Affectifi, Humie or ThinkHumanTV.
By visiting this website, you agree that the laws of New York state, without regard to principles of conflict laws, will govern these terms and conditions, or any dispute of any sort that might come between Affectifi Inc. and you, or its business partners and associates.
Any dispute related in any way to your visit to this website or mobile app or to products you purchase from us shall be arbitrated by state or federal court in Brooklyn, NY and you consent to exclusive jurisdiction and venue of such courts.
You agree to indemnify Affectifi Inc. and its affiliates and hold Affectifi Inc. harmless against legal claims and demands that may arise from your use or misuse of our services. We reserve the right to select our own legal counsel.
Affectifi Inc. is not liable for any damages that may occur to you as a result of your misuse of our mobile app, browser extension, and website.
Affectifi Inc. reserves the right to edit, modify, and change this Agreement any time. We shall let our users know of these changes through electronic mail. This Agreement is an understanding between Affectifi Inc. and the user, and this supersedes and replaces all prior agreements regarding the use of this website.
