Position: CREATIVE PRODUCER (SOCIAL MEDIA FOCUSED)

Fall/Winter 2022 (mid-october start). Ideal candidate will extend through 2023 spring. 


 

ABOUT THE ROLE

This social media role is built for a creative individual excited about helping oversee the early-stage creative development and social media launch of our brand. We are looking for a strategic, creative, and practical mindset, someone who is able to see the bigger picture while being excited to conceptualize and produce creative assets for a start-up working at the intersection of popular media, emotion & cognitive psychology, and wellness. The ideal candidate will understand the power of social media at a time when mental health and emotional literacy are especially critical, and can demonstrate an understanding of creative production and narrative-building.   The role is highly collaborative and will report to the head of creative, while working closely with our two founders. 


 

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Work side-by-side with the head of creative & branding to conceptualize, produce, and share creative content as we build our brand presence

  • Develop templates and other 2D assets, to support marketing & instagram 

  • Manage content production, scheduling, and posting for instagram

  • Source and archive relevant reference material from popular streaming platform tv & movies 

  • We expect a commitment of 5-10 hours / weekly


 

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Preference for undergraduate or graduate students (we can help coordinate for school credit as needed)

  • Demonstrated interest/capability using social media, in particular instagram

  • Ideal candidate is well-versed in Adobe creative suite or comparable 

  • Interest in psychology/media studies/pop culture/storytelling
